The MteMowerSports family started eleven years ago when Duane(Bud) FergusonIII first started racing mowers with USLMRA. In the summer of 2005 Dave (junior) Lande started racing stock with USLMRA. In 2006 the rest of the family to include PJ Husske, Julie Husske,Amy Lande,and the back bone of the family Duane (Bubba) Ferguson JR. Lawn mower racing is not only a hobby but it is a family affair. We all had a good 2007 season. Dave finished top ten in mini sportsman, Pj finished second in his class for the National points with ARMA.
The 2008 season looks very promising for all of us. Amy will have a new mower, Dave will have a faster motor and stronger chassi. Pj and Julie are working to make theirs faster as well.
Changes in the family
Recently our family has branched out Bud has moved back to our home town in Iowa. He will be racing in the mid west and south southern races. Bubba will be racing down by texas and surrounding areas. Pj, Julie, David, and Amy will be racing anywhere from Florida to Maryland and yes over to Tennessee as well.

Our new chapter
In January of 2007 us and some other friends that race here in NC started or Local Chapter with ARMA. Our Local Chapter is th Carolina Lawn Mower Racing Association (CLMRA). All of our local chapters race for their own charities. Our charities will be the local VFD and The Victory Junction Gang Camp. you can find more info on the camp at www.victoryjunction.org go see how your dime is spent.
